Section 84: Application to warehouse

84. Application to warehouse.- When any dutiable goods have been entered for warehousing and assessed under section 1[*****] 80 1[*****] or 81] the owner of such goods may apply for leave to deposit the same in any warehouse appointed or licensed under this Act2[:] 3[Provided that the Collector of Customs, for reasons to be recorded in writing, may disallow the warehousing of goods or any class of goods or goods belonging to a particular importer4[:] 5[Provided further that, at customs-stations where the Customs Computerized System is operational the system may allow removal to warehouse through system generated clearance documents.]
