5. Federal Tax Ombudsman not to hold any other office of profit, etc:___ (1) The Federal Tax Ombudsman shall not— (a) hold any other office of profit in the service of Pakistan; or (b) hold any other position carrying the right to remuneration for rendering of services. (2) The Federal Tax Ombudsman shall not hold any office of profit in the service of Pakistan before the expiration of two years after he has ceased to hold that office; nor shall he be eligible during the tenure of office and for a period of two years thereafter for election as a member of Majlis -e-Shoora (Parliament) or a Provincial Assembly or any local body or take part in any political activity.
