Section 139: Representation of Federal Government at meetings of companies

139. Representation of Federal Government at meetings of companies.—(1) The concerned Minister-in-Charge of the Federal Government, or as the case may be, a Provincial Government, as the case may be, if a member of a company, may appoint such individual as it thinks fit to act as its representative at any meeting of the company or at any meeting of any class of members of the company. (2) An individual appointed to act as aforesaid shall, for the purpose of this Act, be deemed to be a member of such a company and shall be entitled to exercise the same rights and powers, including the right to appoint proxy, as the concerned Minister-in-Charge of the Federal Government or as the case may be, the Provincial Government, as the case may be, may exercise as a member of the company.
