81. Supersession of certain jaws and insurance policies.___(1) Workmen’s compensation and maternity benefit payable under the Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923 (VIII of 1923), the Employer’s Liability Act, 1938 (XXIV of 1938), the Mines Maternity Benefit Act, 1941 (XIX of 1941), or under any other law shall not be payable in respect of any employment on or after the appointed day and the enactments and law aforesaid shall, in so far as they are inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance, cease to have effect. (2) As from the appointed day, any insurance policy made by the employer towards insuring his liability for employment injury arising out of the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923 (VIII of 1923), shall be terminated, and the insurer shall be liable to refund such portion, if any, of the premia already paid as may be prescribed.
