1. Short title, extent, application and commencement.⸻(1) This Act may be called the Recognition and Enforcement (Arbitration Agreements and Foreign Arbitral Awards) Act, 2011. (2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan. (3) It shall apply to arbitration agreements made before, on or after the date of commencement of this Act. (4) It shall not apply to foreign arbitral awards made before the 14th day of July, 2005. (5) It shall come into for ce at once.
