Section 227BA: Reward and benefits for certain persons

1[227BA. Reward and benefits for certain persons.— (1) The Board may sanction rewards to e-intermediaries for filing of returns of new taxpayers. (2) The Board with the approval of Federal Minister in-charge may announce benefits, rebates, tax credits, allowances and any other incentive in cash or otherwise for class or classes of persons. (3) The Board with the approval of the Federal Minister in-charge may, by notification in the official Gazette, prescribe the procedure in this behalf and also notify the class or classes of persons eligible under this section. The provisions of this section shall take effect from the date notified by the Board.] 2[ ]
