THE [KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA] PRE-EMPTION ACT, 1987. 28th April, 1987. [KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA] ACT NO. X OF 1987. [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] in the Gazette of [Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] (Extraordinary), dated the 28th April, 1987]. AN ACT to bring in conformity with the Injunctions of Islam the Law relating to Pre-emption. WHEREAS, the Council of Islamic Ideology, in consultation with the Law Division, has recommended that it is necessary to modify the existing law relating to pre-emption, so as to bring it in conformity with the Injunctions of Islam as set out in the Holy Quran and Sunnah; It is hereby enacted as follows:—
