Section 8: Powers of the Chairperson

8. Powers of the Chairperson.—(1) The Chairperson shall be responsible for the general supervision and oversight of the affairs of the Board. (2) In particular, and without generality of the foregoing powers, the powers of the Chairperson shall include— (a) calling a meeting of the Board, in accordance with section 8 of the Act; (b) facilitating liaison between the Government and the Corporation; and (c) carrying out any activity connected therewith, or ancillary thereto, for the purposes of this Act.
