166. Restrictions on suits for wages.–– A proceeding for the recovery of wages shall not be instituted by, or on behalf of, any seaman or apprentice in any Civil Court— (a) where the owner of the ship is adjudged bankrupt or declared insolvent; (b) where the ship is under arrest or is sold by the authority of any Court; or (c) where a Magistrate under the authority of this Ordinance refers a claim to the Court.
