14. Export allotment and its distribution.___(1) The 1[Federal Government] may, in consultation with the Board, by notification in the official Gazette, fix the export allotment of tea 5[for each tea year, that is to say, a year commencing on the first day of April, and ending on the thirty-first day of March next following]. 6[(2) The export allotment fixed under sub-section (1) may be distributed among such tea estates, in such proportion, and in such manner, as the 1[Federal Government] may from time to time determine.]
