2. Definitions. In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,— (a) “Chairman” means the Chairman of the Governing Body ; (b) “Executive Director” means the Executive Director of the Institute ; (c) “Governing Body” means the Governing Body of the Institute ; (d) “Institute” means the National institute of Cardiovascular Diseases set up in 1963 and registered as such under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (XXI of 1860); and (e) “Trust” means the National institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Trust, Karachi.
