28. Delegation of powers.―(1) The Federal Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, direct that all or any of its powers under this Act shall, subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the notification, be exercised— (a) by any officer or authority subordinate to the Federal Government ; or (b) by any Provincial Government or by any officer or authority subordinate to such Government. (2) A Provincial Government may, with the approval of the Federal Government, constitute a Hotels and Restaurants Committee to perform, within the Province, all or any of the functions of the Committee.
