56: Title of lathband tenants to make improvements

The lathband tenant is entitled to make the following improvements on his tenancy in addition to making embankments (lath): ― (a) He can plant trees which will be his property. (b) He may subject to the consent of his landlord dig a well and install a persian wheel, diesel engine or any other machinery for the purpose of utilizing the underground water.
