34. Audit and Accounts.—(1) The accounts of the Authority shall be audited every year by the Auditor General of Pakistan Revenue in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) Copies of the audit reports shall be sent to the Federal Government alongwith the comments of the Authority. (3) The audit report shall be available for public inspection. (4) The Federal Government may issue directions to the Authority for rectification of any item objected to by the Auditor General of Pakistan Revenue and the Authority shall comply with such directions.
